This is a good deal. My 03 with 32K just sold at consignment for 51K.

Yeah, I was surprised by the price. A no stories, clean PPI, "unmolested" 02 with 40k miles, desireable color combo, for 38k sounds like a great deal for the buyer IMHO. General anecdotes over the past year suggested nice 996TT's to be trending up slightly - this transaction seemed to refute that unless it's simply an outlier.

Found it on Craigslist at a Ford Dealer of all places. Guy traded for a F150 Platinum.
Pretty sure the dealer stole it. I bet they still made a few grand on me and I got a good price.

 

Was 38 their asking or did you negotiate that price? Just curious. Nice find, and enjoy!

 

They were asking 44 then 40 I agreed to give them 37500 + their 499 dealer fee. They had it for a month. I think they were afraid of it

Biggest benefit was the time of year, probably would have sold for asking in spring.

 

My car was asking 55, when it sold. Seems the market is still strong on these. I bought mine in 2012 for 49.
