Plugs and or coils. Or , too much boost and the car is pulling timing.

Also, I'm planning on doing plugs in the car at the end of next month when I have some time.

Why do you think it's the N75? The requested boost vs actual boost is close, I wouldn't think it's the N75 based on that alone. Now I know there are different revisions of the N75 valve (J, W, etc) that have been known to work better than others depending on application, but I fail to see how it would help my problem. Could you explain a bit more why you recommend it?

Try new 'car part' is like 'value' 'currency type'
- Hey I prefaced this thread with my abilities, expect that I will challenge a request to replace parts/spend money when there has been no information to back it up as to why...

One of the difficulties in problem solving, is the existence of interaction effects. These appear as intermittent effects. The only way to truly understand them is with some sort of factorial experiment.
So the problem with the hesitation, is it is not always there. It occurs when there are simultaneous effects of multiple factors say when the airflow is disrupted at the same time the MAF is maxed out. They are difficult to find sometimes...

Yeah I suggested this a few posts back, but got rejected...LOL

I agree, so I'm gonna do plugs and go from there. Although I'd like to understand the flow/mesh setup better and try a new airbox first before I tear apart the car for a weekend

was the n75 mentioned...and the next reply of the very next posters reply to it! (which turned out to be you, i missed that ) but clearly, you *may* have misunderstood my reference as to why i was going to settle in to listen in after popping some kernels LOL, as to what came next!
it was NOT directed ( again ) to you. but i WILL share!? LOL
I WAS ALSO QUESTIONING THE WISDOM OF THE SUGGESTION TO YOU!

When did you last replace the Lambda sensors??
I've had the same issues - replaced post CAT sensors today - not done enough miles yet to be fully convinced just yet.
However, the state of the sensors was shocking - removing them stripped the thread of the sensors and the exhaust had to be re-tapped on both sides.
