what "that" say is different? is different mapping to work with the larger k24's. slightly larger ic's and a build sheet line item for the "x50" power kit' that includes nitroglycerin heart pills at n/c for the + $17,800 add'l build sheet "line item" cost. lol.
according to porsche's official literature it's 414 v 444 crank hp, can't remember tq numbers. but it has to be the most "expensive" factory +30 horsepower in car building history lol

Don't be so critical, Steve.
I understood exactly what she meant with the coilovers and there are plenty of people, even car guys who think PSS9s & 10s are wonderful. And yes, Porsches have great brakes out of the box. But this car has 70k miles - who knows what's up with the brakes. And he was complaining about 'long travel'. If the car had 6 piston calipers mounted with no other changes, the pedal fell might well be uninspiring - despite the fact that actual braking capability is miles better than even most supercars.
Quite the contrary, I think she makes a really good impression. Unless this stuff was pre-rehearsed (not likely), she answered every question more knowledgeably than 70% of the people on IB's Porsche forums could have. If I was looking to hire for the position of "Porsche Buff", I would have def invited her for a second interview or hired her immediately.
I was trying to get a better look at her. If she is as good at a few other things as she is at talking cars, she would have been my utter dream chick a number of years ago.

^^ yeah agree!!, just two guys out for a shakedown cruise LOL. also, agree they knew whatever they knew ( ..or didn't ) about as much as 90% of any first time buyer..so what it sounded like they were reading a car and driver brochure ( which it did!..) lol. this is a tough group
but yeah, can we just leave "her" looks out of this for like... forever lol
i still say they have great taste in backroads ..and agree, these out the box 4 pot brakes are better than most any other 90%. ( that number again LOL )

i read about it tho...
i enjoyed hearing her explain to the ( driver/expert guy ) about the 33k type one's and how that in actuality that was really 3 revs per type "one" registration of the type on the dme. clearly she knew more than he did. they didn't spend nearly as much time ( nor did the car thankfully/apparently ) on type 2's
that vid was shot day or so after our last and most recent period of drizzle they are now calling the el nino that never was.,.or never came, or whatever.
but you could see they street crews had already dozed the rubble and debris! man, out tax dollars at work! LOVE it
yeah, that's my backward so anyone wants a nickle tour? it's fifty cents a lesson lol. once you hit pch? yer on yer own

she spews out mods like she knows what she is talking about then says I'm going to get some coilovers (like the car doesn't have them already) maybe pss10 (like thats a great setup to have ). he makes comments about the brakes like he knows they need an upgrade when the stock brake setup is one of the best there is on any factory car. they both talk about overrevs like its a make or break deal on these cars when its well known that its almost impossible to determine how the overrun occurs in the 996tt.
its a joke of a video and to the unknowing person maybe it sounds like they are seasoned pros but in reality neither of them know squat about these cars. my.02 is she should stick to bmws and he should track a prius

The car is great, it has had the 1 bar waste gates and Ar designs cat less exhaust.
I see sustained 1.2 bar and spikes up to 1.4 bar. I will be getting Kevin to send a new tune soon.
Ive been around cars my whole life, I've known lots about this car for years. My first passion is cars and its hard to believe coming from a female. Every car person I meet doesn't take me seriously until we talk.
The springs are slightly too low and on the stock dampers not great. The rub is over large bumps at speed and the front only at full lock. These wheels are amazing and aren't going anywhere although I did get the stock twists as well. The fender lips on this car aren't rolled at all from the factory which need rolling anyway in my opinion. The car is having the bumper and hood painted now with a fender roll. After maybe xpel film.
Yes I understand that the springs are over the dampers on the stock setup, but people still say coil overs and there is nothing at all wrong with pss10s, they are great for a street car. The brakes are being refreshed, I agree the stock brakes are pretty good.
If you are just awful refrain from reaching out to me, if you are great like Steve then please do, I will take that job btw. Believe it or not I am a car enthusiast, I mean really who else would buy a 996tt these days.
Also I paid 44k for the car w 72k miles.
