At the last minute, we decided to drive down in my friends Z06 (with the Z07 package) instead of my 911.

Exactly, imagine I went with a Corvette owner.

 

Like sitting on the wrong side at a college game, it was really cool they don't have team orders not to battle it out. Hard clean racing to the end.

It has been a long time since a car has triggered the "I must own one someday" like the Ford GT has. Sadly I doubt it'll ever hit the right depreciation point for me to go that route, this step into a 996tt was a big enough leap as it was.

 

ford is doing some Ferrari crap and pretty much interviewing previous ford owners as to what their plans are for the car. with only 250 being built and 400000$, id say its going to be as attainable as a Enzo.
