preferred tires?

Need new tires. I'm looking at the Michelin Pilot PS2's. Anyone have any experience with these?

Yes. For a street tire, that is arguably the best tire you can buy in terms of performance.

I had the Dunlop SP 9000, and they were really good. I went for the PS2 and did not like them at all. (various reasons)

The Conti Vmax is my next tire.. I have heard great things about this tire from Europe..

Ive got em and love em. , but they are on my 19"s. I have pirellis on my 18" and happy with them too.

Thanks guys,

I'm going to order them. I saw that Bugatti is putting them on the Veyron. Michelin claims they have less road noise and better wear life than the Pirellis.

On concrete roads (which abound in DFW) the noise is pretty high - but it's high with all tires.

On blacktops of various compsitions, I've been really pleased with the lack of noise.

todd, i called discount and eagle tire yesterday. Discount wants 305 for the ps2, eagle wants 250. I am calling today to see if there's installation fees, warranties, etc.

You must be talking about front sizes, right?

I have had them on 18" stock wheels, also have them on 19" 3pc. wheels, think they are the best thing going.

PS2's have noticeably more dry cornering traction than Pirelli Rossos and Asimetricoes on my stock wheels. Less front end push in low speed corners. The ride and noise is similar to Rossos and better than Asimetricoes.
