Very impressive numbers RennTech!!! 12% drivetrain loss sounds a bit low to me.
Assuming it was VP "Motorsport 109," it is actually 105 octane (the name is deceptive): http://www.vpracingfuels.com/vp_01_f...199B90E#leaded .
MOTORSPORT 109
• Motor Octane: 101
• Research Octane: 109
• R+M/2: 105
With the singular exception of Motorsport 109, VP names all other unleaded fuels according to the R+M/2 octane rating . . . for some inexplicable reason, VP names its Motorsport 109 fuel according to the research octane rating (rather than the traditional R+M/2 rating of 105). I am not aware of any R+M/2 109 octane unleaded fuel.
