I am in the San Fernando Valley but the car I am purchasing is in Yorba Linda CA.
Can somebody recommend a great place to do a PPI thats comprehensive and also if I need repair done where's an honest & reasonable place? Thanks

Yes I do. But Newport Beach Porsche dealership charges $463 for it and says it takes 4-5 hours. So I dont know who to to trust and who just wants to take money for it.

Girthboy started this thread with a request for a shop specifically in the San Fernando Valley. Are you aware of any forum sponsors in the SFV? I am not. Therefore, I recommended Speed Gallery. I also referenced the closest forum sponsor, Lucent, even though they are outside the geographical territory requested by Girthboy.
FWIW, Speed Gallery is a distributor/reseller for several forum sponsors, including EVO MS, Cargraphic, 996 Wings, Europipe and Tire Rack.

Could be some affiliation. Dunno!!!

The prior affiliation is a former employee of Speed Gallery. Ever since this particular employee was let go by Speed Gallery, the above-referenced monikers have covertly sought to disparage and undermine Speed Gallery on this forum. Since I am a known customer of Speed Gallery, their agenda is often advanced in response to my posts.
The following thread is illustrative of their games: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...threadid=23829 .
Mike Smith has also often criticized Speed Gallery’s work, including the following posts:
On a March 11, 2005, in a thread regarding a gauge pod installed by Speed Gallery, Mike Smith posted:

Oh No, I thought it was Speed Gallery not Sound Gallery.
Tell me you guys aren't doing the audio stuff now?
That audio crap must weigh like 200 lbs., save it for the Benz.
Put on the straight pipes for sound.

I live in Van Nuys and have a new 997S. I heard that Speed Gallery was a board sponsor but don't see their link on the right
column. Are they still a sponsor here? Want to get some suspension and wheels but I do want to support our Sponsors first.
Thanks guys

Then, when a day passed and no one responded to his post inquiring about Speed Gallery, Mike Smith posted again:

The irony in all of this is that I never had anything negative to say about the former Speed Gallery employee who is the impetus for this. I thought he did fine work on my car and I only had positive things to say about him. I genuinely hope things are going well for him over at Me.
Finally, least there be no accusation that I have failed to disclose my bias regarding this situation, I am a long time customer of Speed Gallery.
How long will it take for Ro, Te, TB, BJ, and/or TS to respond?
Craig
Ps: I sincerely apologize to Girthboy for hijacking his thread, but I have kept my mouth closed about the above-referenced information for long enough.
