Buying new wheels...I am normally good at picking exactly what I want but I am laboring over this one. Thought I'd go the easy route and ask for input from the internet. LOL

Going back to 18" rims on my barritz white 2001 996 TT and have settled on Race Tech Forged Track Spec-5 rims. Done and ordered.

The only sticking point is the color - I'm torn between Brushed Titanium, Brushed Black Titanium or Brushed Gold.

I've had gloss black rims on my cars for well over 5 years so I am not interested in that option.

i dont think any color would look bad on that white beauty! that gold would be a head turner for sure

LOL, what? You already said it...this forum didn't have much of an opinion. A small handful of people voted. I agree. With 500 views and only 12 votes, I called that pretty much a wash.

I had an identical thread on Rennlist and it was pretty much split between titanium and gold.

In the end, my wife says she hates Gold...I have a feeling I may end up getting sick of it at some point...AND the dang rim mfg wouldn't or couldn't come up with a Gold sample. I wasn't sure what I was going to get.

After waiting for them to provide a gold sample for a month, I gave up. Titanium it is.

 

I know I'm late replying, but I'd go a go a dark bronze. Google it, looks amazing if not a bit understated on a white car.

Thanks for the input man...just not a fan of dark bronze, nor do I want anything "dark" any more. I've run black wheels on two of my cars for well over 5 years. Need to change it up. I want something brighter.

Oh and right on, be safe on those 2 wheels! I hung up the leathers...too many buddies dead. Selling the Gixxer soon. More Porsche mod money!
