I´m also looking for some lightweight trackwheels but they don´t have to be to "hot".

I think I will end up with OZ Alleggerita.

Project911 is infamous around these parts
Now you gotta choose between performance or appearance. I personally think you should stay with the 18s on 996TT and can probably go with 19s on the GT2s. Kinesis wheels are nice and very light in weight, but I think they went out of business already.

Well, I received today my set of Alleggerita HLT in 8.5x18 and 12x18 for my GT2.

The wheels look great and the weight is 18.9 and 22.9 lbs.
Wanted to post pictures, but my browser crashes when I try to upload them.
Will try again...

Anyhow, I'm really happy

regards

HRE had a partnership with dymag to make the CF rims of their carbon wheels but that is on hold now. HRE says they will continue to make CF wheels but they will have to develop their own process or find a new partnership.

I'm dying to see them on the GT2. They're so much value for money compared to the competition. Please post pics when you can.

Anyone got pics of the Volks on their car? I'm thinking of getting a set for my C4S.

DAMMIT :/ But does it really matter Mike?? Cast doesn't mean it isn't "strong" or track worthy per se, usually people opted away from them because of the weight no? These seem to be VERY LIGHT for a cast/wider wheel

Hope all is well Mike, been a while.
