I love to see that log because your hitting full boost at 4700rpm with stock k16s.

Your log is only done in 3rd gear or 4th.

He's getting his boost good Keith (hey). Looks like mid 3000 where it should be. Logs would be great. In 3rd and 4th so we can compare.

Were fans on?

Yea I'm hitting boost where I should be. It's not up in the 4500 range.

Will get logs up when I get to a computer.

Sam, they only had a fan on the front. Not on the intercoolers, I think that plays a big factor

Your getting boost but your car does not hit full hp until 4700rpm then you rehit more power at 5800rpm with a huge spike. Something isnt right but the logs will show what is going on.

This means your getting timing pulled for some reason.

No airflow on the intercoolers is huge! At least hit them with alcohol and water spray to cool them some, I bet IAT were screaming...

Nah i didnt have any airflow on my dyno and my lines were normal. When OP does a datalog thats where it will show whats going on.

Wow just as i thought you have timing being pulled big time. Matter of fact your afr get close to 13 in some spots. Ohh you have alot of advance in timing too. Im not sure why kevin said your numbers are good. There all over the place.

He did note timing is being pulled, but also part of it is the ****ty 91 octane. He said he's seen stock cars pull 8-9 degrees.

I'll be honest, I put trust in Kevin.

Also note, there is an error in the software calculations. I hunted everything through the fuel system (new pump, Venturi tubes, filter) before we realized the software had an error.

I see what your saying but i have seen 91octane files and they dont pull timing like that. Pulling timing can be very bad for the motor. Hes advancing the timing alot.

The numbers should go up smoothly not go up 13.5 then down to 10.0 then back up and vice versa. Thats why your dyno looks like that and losing alot of power.

I'll preface and admit I haven't looked at the logs and am not real familiar with the DME programming, I do know a bit about ecu and tuning however.

Leaning on the knock sensor is scary, knock must first occur for knock to be sensed and timing pulled. If a sensor goes bad it gets ugly fast. I respect Kevin's ability but 91 octane is pretty weak and if timing as pulling and advancing that is NOT good in any car. I'm surprised the ecu isn't learning and keeping it retarded...

Kevin is probably the most conservative tuner out there. I barely see any -1s or -2s on my knock sensors. His tunes are super safe...

No doubt he is great at what he does but those logs dont look good. This is what causes motors to go bang.

This is where I turn novice, he did mention that the knock retard is settling in....(I figured he thought I was just getting comfortable behind the wheel and was calling me names )
