Dyno results - tune/exhaust

Dyno results - tune/exhaust
Had an opportunity to jump on a dyno today. There's a few caveats while reading this:
Mustang AWD dyno
3rd gear (new dyno and they haven't had a chance to calibrate it to the mph' for 4th they claim) - not a big deal I just wanted to see the curve and get a baseline for future mods.
I didn't tell them redline had been raised so he shutdown well short (interesting to see lower climbing)
The torque is insane. Curious if is see more power in 4th. Also, anyone know how much lower mustang dynos generally show? I've heard as much as 15% compared to dyno jets.

Wow that seems low. So without a tune on k16s you would be at 300awhp? No way!!!!
Mustang dynos i believe you lose 30% hp loss.

I finally found a report of a guy putting down 296 on a dyno dynamics dyno with a stock turbo....no sheet though
If 30% is right then that's about 470hp....but **** me that's a **** ton of torque (about 550 lb ft)

Hey bud. Stock 996TT's read about 330/340 on a Mustang but that's in 4th. 22/23% average loss. DynoJet reads about 10% higher on average. Hope that helps. The curve looks funny and I wouldn't judge your car by it. Especially if they are still tweaking on the calibration.

Your hp curve looks funny you start making power then your losing power then at 5600rpm your making power again. Sounds like your car is pulling timing and boost.
Possibly causes: boost leak, knocking.
I would do a datalog in 3rd gear 2800 to 7k rpm on the highway then you will see what is wrong.
Also your getting full boost at 4700rpm on stock turbos!!! You should be getting full boost around 3500rpm.

Well we know you have a healthy fuel system, Good tuner. Car comes on great but fades out. Boost is rock solid. Do you have the upgraded WG's on there? On the other hand load is off in 3rd so I just think it's a bad judge. Call me monday and i will see if we can get you on one of several dyno's out there.

Why don't you post on Rennlist or talk to Kevin directly and he can clue you in what's going on in light of you running HIS tune. Also, why did they stop the dyno pull at 6100rpm? On the dyno run it to redline in 4th gear which should be 7200 on Kevin's tune.

I hadn't told them redline was raised, that was on me.
Will chat with Kevin, want to run some logs as well to see what's happening. To be clear, I'm not questioning Kevin's tune, car runs solid (at least feels solid), a log will verify
