The spacers are a motorsport part Steve. Only the hub is made by Rothsport. The spacer is 20mm. I used a full thickness 20mm spacer between the steering wheel and the QD and a 10mm spacer between the QD and the Rothsport hub. I just had one of the 20mm spacers machined down to 10mm. Using that combo places the steering wheel 3/4" closer to the driver compared to the OEM wheel. If you wanted it even closer you could just leave both spacers at 20mm instead of 20/10. Hope that makes sense.

it does. if the 20mm spacer will allow the wiring to tuck in that would be fine. wheel is super close in stock form to me with my seat mounted.

You could have both spacers machined to 10mm which would place the wheel very close to the distance of the stock wheel.

Question - where can you get hub adapters for our cars? Fixed and/or quick release style? Thanks!!

Momo, Sparco, and Rothsport are the options for our cars. Momo is longest and Rothsport shortest. You want the Rothsport when using a QD and the others if going fixed. They are each about $100. I have an extra Sparco and Rothsport if you need one.

Cool! Yep fixed for now. I'll take one of those off you. I'm thinking about picking up an OMP wheel, it has a 95mm dish to it. I'll shoot you a text to arrange to grab it....Maybe Friday.

Huh good work John, now you made me want one too, beside performance and riosks associated with airbag, it looks too damn hot with that steering wheel. So the QD is Rothsport, you better start to sell some parts packages as your set-ups are always only but the best

Porsche Motorsport... Dealer can't get the Motorsport stuff unless they have an account set up. Very few do. I think Suncoast is one of them.

Yeah, I'm like a crack dealer getting people hooked.. Lol. Seriously though, safety aspect aside, the Cup wheel is pretty sweet. Completely changes the feel of the car.

What do you think is the total offset from the hub/spacers/QD? Im not sure I want to go for a full QD setup right now but would like to do the math at least to figure out what I will need. About what height are you as well?

Thanks!

john told me if i wanted to machine the 20mm spacers down to 10mm each it would be at stock distance. and do the q/d. i got all my parts and wheel this week. like john said that q/d is a work of art and extremely solid fitting. my only issue is i cant decide if im going to install it immediately or send the wheel to my buddy and have ivan at dct wrap it in leather. im not a huge fan of alcantara but it does look kool!

Yeah, just need to know the length of the hub and the QD to figure out the total offset for everything. That way there are no surprises. Im a fan of alcantara and its not that hard to clean. Just some Sonax and you are good. I would probably do a recover in the GT2 RS colors since I would like some dark grey to offset the light grey interior and the red would go well with the seatbelts.
