john what was the length of the aluminum when you finished shaping it? i have a piece of 1/4" x 3/4" and will start bending and shaping this weekend

I didn't take measurement of it but looking at the picture of it installed on the Rothsport hub, the aluminum piece is 1/2" x 1.5". the part that sticks over is the same size as the tab that is on the OEM clock spring. Hope that helps.

ok that does help. i havent taken the clockspring off yet so i wasnt sure how far it stuck out. you just used that for a guide. got it!

Also use the clock spring to get it in the right orientation so it cancels at the right angle.
