McKenzie's heads are brilliant. I didn't open mine up anywhere near that much. I'm sure I would ruin my heads if I tried. My goal is to see what kind of gains can be had by just fixing the obvious things that anyone can do. Cleaned up valve seat transitions, polishing casting junk, shaving down valve guides, and gasket matching the ports.

 

Almost finished porting. I just need to fix a few things I missed before I washed them. My exhaust valves seem to have a bit of pitting. I will see what my cyl head guy has to say about them.
