Coolant Breather Hose HELP
Replacing 2 seeping radiator hoses and ran into a dilemma.
As you will see below the original part was held on by hose clamps on both ends - easy enough.
The new part directly from Porsche has a joining socket on one end and before I break anything I wanted to ask here if I need a female joining socket on the coolant line running in the wheel well also. The part number is 99610613778 for reference.
Original hose - clamps hold both ends - straightforward
New hose - clamp on radiator end but joining socket on other end
And here is the new hose and where it will need to fit in
Thanks for any help

i just replaced my drivers side radiator last week and familiar with what you have going on.
the hose should have been flipped with the slip on portion of the hose installed on the hard line with a hose clamp (above) and the plastic fitting installed into the radiator with a metal retaining clip
huge pic
the fitting end of your hose should be inserted into the small bore connection (one to the right) and the retaining clip installed
