PCA weekend track day shots...

Hey glad the car was running strong! Looks great! That's Chris Vivilos 6 cup right with the Blue and white right? Awesome guy, raced with him in the Mustang Challenge when I was driving the Discount Tire #22. For those interested in The event in September it requires experience on both east and west tracks so on the 30th and 31st we are having a two day event. East track Saturday west Sunday so people can get them both in to prepare for the full track.

I have not had a chance to install them yet and I wanted to get some good data without them. I'll be at the track next Thursday doing some testing and plan to run a few sessions with and without the ducts to get a good apples to apples comparison.

Thanks for sharing, looks fun.
What track is that?
I roadraced motorcycles at several tracks in Co. in the '80's and '90's. Second Creek, Woody Creek at Aspen and Steamboat Springs through the streets. I also raced in other tracks around the west and in Canada. A decade of this, living in motorhomes on weekends, lots of broken bones and trying to run a business on week days got racing out of my system. I frankly don't miss the stress.
Don't let racing consume your life and you can enjoy for a long time;-)

For sure, I guess I was talking about new drivers with still riding with instructors. If anyone is interested in coming for the 3 day event and has trouble signing up let me know I and can get you helped out. John I would love to hop in your right seat at some point for a couple of laps during the weekend, so I feel feel that beast rip!

I cant wait to track mine one day but I am just going through the basics right now with my IS300 since its a little more forgiving (and cheaper) of a car. Im focusing on suspension stuff for the turbo right now and then will probably get a set of IC's since I live in AZ and its basically the surface of the sun even during winter months.
I have a good bit of experience with AutoX but only have done a couple HPDEs in the past. One of my instructors even said "You do autox dont you?" when he rode with me during the second session.
Sorry for the grainy pics... not sure what was up with my phone.
