I just found an old dyno chart of a PSI powered car that was tested by car & Driver.
The car dynoed @ 639.8 corrected HP on a Maha dyno and 600ftlb 4960 RPM.

These are the test results from car & Driver:

Zero to 60mph..........................3.1 Sec
Zero to 100 mph.......................6.9 Sec
Zero to 150mph........................15.7 Sec
Street start 5-60mph................4.6 Sec
Standind 1/4 mile......................11.1 sec @ 130mph
Was this done at an actual drag strip or the usual "lame" way with a radar gun etc... Car Mag's never do it right and then people wonder when they take their car's out why the results are so very different?

Buddy, I will see to it that I stay in contact with Todd and all parties involved to get this event done. I think we all can create a never before seen Porsche event that incorporates all of the past great shootouts as well as some new aspects that will make it the best one yet. We do want to discuss having both a tuner event as well as have a separate event for fellow enthusiast cas as well.

The test was conducted at the Chrysler test facility in Detroit. The timing was done by GPS I think. Larry Webster who drove the car said that he had never driven anything like it.

Larry Webster obviously hasn't driven anything _very_ fast then 11.1 is good but that's not even CGT range Hasn't he driven one of those?

The GPS things aren't 100% accurate either but close to about .2 or so...

It was close to 2 years ago that they did the test.It still aint bad for a car with 640 hp.I think the reason he had'nt drove a CGT is because they were not in production at that time.

Nate,

I am thinking that alot of people would want to attend this big shootout so it will be a great way to lure people for the National Meet.

I will work on setting up a website that can be a central location for information and sign up, etc...
