Make sure the car is certified from Catina, 5 years/100k miles
from the original date of delivery. It will add value to you and for resale.
Also, Paul the salesman has a paint meter...had it for me when I went there. Meter the entire car except bumpers and rear wing to ensure that the car was not painted. 2.5 to 5 mills is the average paint thickness. If a panel show up at 7+ you need to dig a little deeper to make sure the car was not hit. Once again, this affects current value and resale value in the future.
Ask to speak to the previous owner if possible. Paul called my p.o. when I was there and put him on the phone with me.
Lastly, keep in mind what they sold me my car for and if need
be use this as a negotiating point.

Best,
Pete

Honestly, I dont care if they do it or not.. That was my attitude at the dealership and they knew it. Yes, I admit, I hope they call me, but if they dont I will NOT lose any sleep.

nI am keeping that attitude like I said. I am sure that in a dealers position he would rather have my car to sell(TT-S)

Either way I am happy. If I keep my car, fine. If he does my car and 10 grand,fine.. Either way I dont care..

Thank you so much for the great advise. I have had three other turbos in the past 4 years and this is my fourth..
I love the looks and the rawness of the GT2 and I feel that I am one of those people that know exactly what that car is about..
I just dont want to make a big mistake about getting rid of my car.
I mean the thing is bran new and it is the Porsche that is perfect in my mind.
I think I am bored of the turbo and am looking for that rawness that will really exite me.
IMO, the TTs does everything right and is the car that basically drives itself. I am hoping that the GT2 will enhance the driving experience like my friends Ferrari..

When I drove his 360 from Atlantic City to Long Idland (about 100 miles) I felt so connected with that car that I did not even care about how slow that thing was..
I am looking for more of that rawness like the F car and also the power of the Porsche..
I am just getting the bugs of losing such a great car(TTS) and getting into something else..
Yea the raw and RWD connected feeling i am also missing with this car. Great car, but a little too boring for me as well

That would not get him a GT2 by no means.

MM,

By not calling is their loss, they just want you to get itchy and call them. I say wait it out, they will call they always do.
Short story:
My bro wanted the CL65 and went to get one our dealer had with 2k miles so used.
They wanted $184,500 for the car, we laughed and left.
2 weeks later they called and we got it for $165,000.
