Just curious, what's the price to take a stock 996TT to that GT800 level?

That is so:
AWESOME!
Way to go Evolution Motorsports and Todd Z! Currently the fastest documented 996 tt. But you guys definately need to take that car to different track with ideal conditions to break into the 9's!
So cool!

Thanks guys! I wish I could have been there to see it. We will be taking the car to Nor Cal and meet up with Sharky in the next few weeks. We will have it in the 9's there for sure.
This car is our company R&D vehicle equipped with our GT800 engine upgrade w/ straight exhaust. The engine is stock except for the internal strengthening components (rods, head studs and oil pump). It has stock heads, stock pistons and valve train. We built this engine about 15 months ago and have not touched it since then. The car is running the stock transmission and stock gearing with the drive shaft removed. The car weighs about 3350 - 3400 with driver and fuel.
We just ordered the Race Technology AX22 data logger and will have some more data on the acceleration times soon.

runs perfect. We just remove the front drive shaft. I think if we were in AWD, it would have run the same time. We were advise to try it, so we did. 1/4 mile racing is not our thing so we are learning as we go.
