I never ever mentioned full suspension being PSS9's, because they arent good for straight up track use, i know because of my track setup M3! Now we arent talking about money factor either, so you can put a full Moton suspension, have it fully corner balanced and done right, some gt2 sways or from whomever and you will have all of the traction and be outhandling the GT2 anyday, and especially if it is not a professional in a GT2 because in all reality, how many people can drive a GT2 like a professional can

GT2's are insane for out of the box and will straight up hand it to the 996tt, but of course if you factor in , stock for stock something comparable lets say, a 996tt no sunroof like my car and GT2, how much weight difference is there really, and im asking because im curious?

Then once you start doing minor suspension things, combined witht he AWD despite the heavy AWD system, the only advantage i can see the GT2 having is the straight line acceleration on a straight from its less weight and better drag coefficient and aerodynamics from like what you said, gt2 front and wing which even then, i doubt will matter unless your at high, high speeds.

Bottom line as we all know, the GT2 has the capability of being far superior in the hands of professionals, but in real life situations that's all that matters

I believe I covered it from both angles of modification. And it was my assumption the discussion invloved RobbieX50's car, but you obviously have the benefit of altering your thought process after you have read my post.

It does not take a professional to take advantage of the GT2's ability. And it is also not unreasonable to assume the GT2 will be tracked and for that matter someone with a 996tt either.
The weight difference between a GT2 and an average 996tt is roughly around 200lbs, which is pretty significant.

Minor suspension things like what? Shocks and sways? Uh huh.

You really just don't know, and very obviously have never driven a GT2. Otherwise you never would have typed that tripe statement.

I agree with this statement 100%. In the real world an AWD twin turbo w/ minor mods will perform better for me than the GT2. In fact, I would go out on a limb and say that 90% of the members on this board would be faster in a lighthly modded AWD turbo versus a GT2 on a road course. I for one don't have the skills to power oversteer through the corners with confidence corner after corner. Just my opinion though.
