if u check evoms ms site.... look under the stage 4 x-50 tuning package.. ull notice that that what they do to the k24s....

they dont.... good headers.. on a non high HP car will only increase flow.. and nothing does it better then ur stock ones.... when properly ported...
I would rather get a ecu.. and redo my kkks first...

Ok thanks for the info guys, i cant believe i sound like sucha noob by accident haha.. I was asking purely just for reference in how much you cna pull out of them. Sharky said he might need a tester for the K16headers so i was oging to do a few more things.. Basically iw ould love to go 800HP and shlt, it just isnt worth it to me at this time, after my investments and if i make out real well, i'll blow a good chunk but i learned already from my M3, im enjoying my car so much right now and just wanted a little more huice, i just want ot track it this spring/summer, that's it

So is the fact that EVO has 3 specific header designs (K16, K24, & GT700+) all hype ? Would you figure a car with say X50 Stage 3 (ECU mod., Air Intake, & Exhaust) would benefit from a set of the K24 headers.

The compressor currently on your stock K24 was designed for stock boost and flow levels. You are now operating them outside of the most efficent portion of the MAP. When selecting a new compressor you just need to know what boost levels you are running and select the proper compressor wheel. Since most turbo houses have CNC machines they have the profile for many compressors already loaded. This makes upgrades cheap and easy.

Oh yeah, that is understandable. I guess the money is better spent on a set of zero clearance/modified K24's. I'm wondering if headers would be a good idea after that (& the stiffer wastegate springs).

I have the springs from Tial Sport. They manufacture external wastegates so I would consider them to be the best source. The kit includes the billet clamps needed to reassemble the accuator after installing the springs. I installed them on my stock K24's and it did help spool up.
