The Tail springs aren't a bolt in. They aren't designed for the KKK accuators. You have so much coil bind with there springs it just isn't correct.

FWIW they were an easy bolt in for me. Maybe you are confused with another "tail" company.
Look at how flat the boost log is when using these springs. This is from my 993tt with K24 hybrids (not Kevins) and greddy EBC

Question:
1 How did you get that plot?
2 Why does the MAF voltage max out even as you keep accelerating and using more air? If the MAF is undersized, you must revert to the stored ECU values for timing and injector pulse width based on RPM and Load correct? Would it not be better to get a larger MAF that reads your airflow accurately up to the max, for more adjustability? Perhaps WOT doesn't require a lot of 'tweeking' to get maximum safe power?

I have both.. a tial 44 mm on gt 35r garrett ball bearing turbo( evo8).. as well as Kevins billet wastegate on my stage 5 zero clearance(TT)... both are great and do the job. Huge difference in spool up and sustained boost.. doesnt drop off like the stock wastegate under full load.

What are you replacing your stage 5 turbos with? With all of the success of the garretts I have to guess thats your plan. If so you will not be disapointed.

Yes Im going to a set of gt35rs and 44 mm wastegates with .8 bar springs.... all custom piping I/cs.... headers, exhaust.. etc.. and much more....
I must really say that Kevins stage 5 zero clearance turbos are the ****....I had k24s race FVD turbos and they were a dog.... too much lag... i didnt hit full boost til top of the 3rd or 4rth gear... stage 5s are awesome... simply no lag... seriously.... it was the best set up I had without having to get into the engine and or add injectors/fuel pumps.

Those FVD turbos sound pretty sad. Here is a 1-3 gear log of my home brew K24 hybrids. I hit full boost in first gear with my 993tt.

I can recommend some.

and the stiffer spring turns this into a whole different car.
