Tires used on road course...
This is what I heard regarding tires on the track...
Alex/ S Car Go Racing: Hoosier
Fredttx50/ EVO GT4: 19" street brand???
sharkster/ Imagine Auto & Kevin: DOT Pilot sport cups
Budman/ PES-EVOMS: DOT Pilot sport cups
Hamann7/ Protomotive: DOT Pilot sport cups
Cargraphics: DOT Pilot sport cups
By Design: DOT Pilot sport cups
Axis: Street brand???
Hartman: Street brand???
So it appears that the main contenders were all on the same tire. Looks like the Hoosiers were the only race tire out there..fyi

CC - zero clearance and 4GT turbos are two completely different approaches to get more HP.
The Zero clearance is Kevin's design and uses a K16/K24 hybrid then coats the inside such as to reduce clearance and thus imprve spool time and efficiency....
The 4GT turbos last I checked use a garrett ball bearing impeller in a custom K24 housing.

The zero clearance are not just a bolt on application. If you do not do any tuning your AFR's can go as high 14.5 which is lethal. I think Sharkster is running the Stage 4 GT software but not 100% positive.

Duane:
I would love to see some numbers and testing methodology. I would be shocked if the cars on the same tires differed by more than a few feet (driver variability in timing and pressure applicaiton in the braking zone). The proper way to test this to avoid that is to look at negative g's.

can we get stopping times and distances please...I am wondering if Fred did not do so well due to the fact he only has the front Brembo kit or because he has street 19" tires...
