Oh and on a track a Lamdo especially a Murci is not match for a GT3 or a Z06...

Clarification for Allan--let me explain again
Race #1 last year
My friend David in his GT3 vs my other friend Peter in his Orange Murci egear on Biscayne Blvd US1, GT3 takes the Murci by 5 car lengths
Note: David and Peter are known by several members of this board 2 I know of that know about this race
Race #2 also last year
My friend Jamie in his Yellow Murci egear against my friend Craig in his lightly modded 996TT, TT took him by 3 car lengths in about 1/2 to 3/4's of a mile race..
Race #3 this past Sunday
My friend David who now has an Audi S4 and another guy who lurks on this board who was driving his Clubsport Euro Spec GT2 meet up with there other friend who has a modded TT and shows up in his new M5...they do alot of runs and on all of them David is in the dust and until 150+ the M5 and the GT2 are neck and neck...then the GT2 takes it as the M5 is governed
Race #4 about 1 month or so ago
Friend from Race#1 in his Orange Murci and another board member (in the murci) race another board memeber in his new Z06 and up to 150 the Z06 is running with him after that from 150 and up the Lambo takes it on the upper end as the Z06 does not have the upper end pull
Note is that the guy who has the Ornage Murci just bought a Yellow Z06 and had stopped by the meet Saturday ( I did not have a chance to get pics)
Anyway if you read you will understand clearly I never said the GT3 ever raced a Z06....see all my prior posts

Person C says "My car X was even with car Y"

But, on a more in depth note, this is the exact problem with street racing. ANYTHING, I MEAN ANYTHING can happen. Then the person comes and posts it on the forums, and now everyone thinks the race that happend measures real life performance between the two cars, when this is just not the case. Like I said, and I have the video if anyone wants to see, but I BEAT A SRT-10 FROM A ROLL IN MY SLOW, STOCK, 2001 Z06. Does that mean I have the faster car?? We all know the answer to that! (No, for those of you that don't know) So how do we determine what really is faster if street racing is a poor measure due to different variables?
Easy. Next time you race car x vs. car y, after the race, switch drivers and see the result. If the results are the same, then the results are obvious and it is clear what car is really faster. If the results differm then you know something is going on with the driver.
Like I said, from what I have seen, read, drove, etc..I feel that, in regards to straight line performance, that the Z is on top (Atleast to 162, right before shifting into 5th), followed by the Murci, followed by the GT2, followed by the Gallardo, followed by the 996TT, followed by GT3.
If anyone has access to all these cars, get them out, get good/equal drivers IN ALL, and then come back and report the results to us.

The driver of the lambo was a car guy with many hot numbers too (before you go spoutin' off that he couldn't drive, lol), he personally owned a 9-sec grand national and knows how to "drag race."
...I will say this though, it WAS a gorgeous car. Real pretty to look at. Much better looking than the over-done "martian space shuttle" styling of a Murcialago. I think Lambo really went downhill with regards to their flagships styling, being their #2 looks way better now. Personally, I thought the Diablo 6.0 looks better than them all. I don't know, was never about cars that looked like they're out of an arcaid game or that a 12 year old designed them.

Allan a stock C6 may be ok for the Murci but the Z06 will have you for lunch...we did that race also...however on the upper end above 150 the Z06 does not pull as hard and the Lambo passed us..Trust me Francis with the GT2 on this board was in the Lambo and my frined Royaltouchtt (6 speed member) was driving his new Z06..
