Help ID Codes - Please

Had a code, o2 sensor..........replaced the sensor and cleared the code....fine for 24 hours and then I get another CEL. This time I get these...

PO410 - Secondary air system - cyl 1-3

P1411 Secondary air system - 4-6 - signal

Anyone know off hand what these are???

Well, if www.renntech.org wasn't timing out, I would research it for you some more...

I wonder if you have a vacuum leak...

When I start it up first thing in the morning,,,,,I do sometimes hear every so slight of groaning....might be the DV's??

Yeah, wierd, but when I blip the throttle slightly and put it in gear (first couple of times after a cold start) it kinda goes HMMmmmmm....kinda like a groan.,.....I wondered if that might be my cars version of the "Honking" that people say signifies the end of DV's....

My advice would be to look at the diverter valves (and the hoses that connect to them) to see if any are loose.

Limit

Diagnosis conditions

• Intake air temperature 4.5 - 60 °C
• Engine temperature 4.5 - 102 °C
• Mass air flow 36 - 150 kg/h
• Engine starting temperature less than 42 °C
• Altitude correction factor greater than 0.75
• Oxygen sensors 1 and 2 ahead of TWC are ready for operation
• The secondary air injection pump is switched on
• Diagnosis has not yet taken place during this cycle
Possible fault cause

. Secondary air injection pump is not triggered
. Secondary air injection pump does not work
. Air supply lines restricted
. Electric change-over valve does not function
. Air change-over valve does not function
. Vacuum system leaking

Secondary air diagnosis can be activated with the Porsche System Tester 2 in the "Short test" menu.

Work instruction Display OK If not OK
1 Activate secondary air
pump.
. Remove relay of secondary air
injection pump.
. Jumper terminals 30 and 87.
. The secondary air pump must
be running (audible function).
– or
. Connect and switch on Porsche
System Tester 2.
. Select DME.
. Call up "Drive links" menu.
. Select "Secondary air pump".
. Activate secondary air pump
(audible function).
. Step 3 . Step 2
2 Check triggering of secondary
air pump
. Check fuse (Maxi Fuse) of AIR
pump (on relay carrier 2).
. Remove relay of AIR pump (on
relay carrier 2).
. Measure voltage between pin 3
and ground

This is a code almost always associated with the vacuum line to the DVs. It will self check within the first 5 minutes of "cold" start up and not again until it cycles to complete cold again..

So, in your opinion....probably a leaky line or leaky DV's? Boy, wouldn't it be nice to be a part that I wouldn't mind upgrading anyways......well, it's going over to GMG monday so we can fix. Hope that's what it is....
