The SRX is as good as all the articles read. My wife has one and loves it. BUT, it is not selling too well. The price is about $10,000 to high across the board (V6 and V8). Cadillac underpriced the CTS-V, and overpriced the SRX.

But look at it this way. If gives you the ability to by a 2003 996TT for the price of a C4S. Thanks to the MFG's ability to price things way above their true value. As Enzo Ferrari said, "I build 349 of one model because it is one less than demanded." Not such a dumb idea when talking about $100,000+ vehicles

Think Caddy will get younger buyers with their new line up?
Isn't the average buyer age 67? I know it is w/ Buick, so I figured Caddy isn't far behind.
I personally need to see some major interior over-hauls before I'd even look at them myself. Look at the Ford F150... it's interior is nicer than any car GM has in its whole line up. IMO
I hope GM can follow suit. I also like the first looks of the new roadster, but again, getting younger buyers for that when competing w/ the SL and even the SC430 (mostly women it seems for the Lexus) is going to be tough.

The CTS, SRX, Escalade have brought the age way down. The new STS, XLR, and Deville (soon) will bring it down some more. The avg age of an S-class/LS430/745 buyers is damn near deceased like Cadillac Deville buyers.
As for interiors, the newer Sigma platform cars (CTS/XLR/CTS-V/SRX) are great, not too flashy and not to plastic. Just right (IMO)
I have had several XLR's come in and the SC430 is no match for an XLR. The XLR can take an SL500 for a ride. Check one out in person and you will be blown away. It is an amazing car.
The Ford better have a nice interior because with those under-powered drivetrains you spend more time in it than the average truck just getting where your going.

I personally don't like the CTS interior. I find it very kludgy like an after-thought on the car.
I believe you on the XLR being awesome. I think the biggest problem is the stigma associated with Cadillac. Young people see it as an old guy's car. I am going to drive one. I'd really like to see how it drives!
Yeah... Ford is really hurting w/ the F150. That poor underpowered truck has only been the best selling vehicle for 20 something years.
Seriously the interior of that truck is amazing. They proved that domestic companies can in fact build nice interiors too.
