Well, my car is on it's way to a shop.

WOW...I thought I joined a thread of admirable car enthusiast??????? Where did this calumny come from?? Come on guys, this is an exhilarating time for all of us! Markski is having his baby transformed into a land cruise missile while the rest of us, instead of supporting him, are talking about HIS decision on using Protomotive. We are all unique individuals with unique experiences and how our perception of reality relates to us, might not relate the same to someone else. Lets drop the subject and wish Marski the best on his decision. After all, we will see how the car performs after he gets it back!

Alex, you know I do not doubt that Todd makes Porsches into ICBMs. I am glad your dealings with Protomotive have been stellar. I never had any doubts that he makes fast cars... after all, you saw how my/Wilber's car performed at the first Shootout! I always liked Todd and have always been a big advocate of his, I'm just not sure why I never got the "royal treatment" like you and Jean did. Oh well... we all have our differences.
If I wanted to build a monster HP car like yours, I'm sure I would've bitten the bullet and gone to Protomotive in the Ozarks... but the GT2 is plenty for me, and I don't think it's wise to run 1000hp for my purposes.
If Markski did send his car to Todd, then he will definitely have the 10 second car he was looking for. That's for damn sure. Todd K. really is an innovator and an extremely brilliant guy. In fact, I'd take my car to him before any of the other American tuners. It's too bad that he and Wilber had a falling out, they would have made an unbelievable team...
FYI, much of the technology that was implemented on your car was architected by Wilber and implemented and perfected by Todd... since my blue car was the guinea pig. That car was definitely one of THE fastest 996 Turbos for a long time...

to throw in my $.02 - i am new to this world and i bought a promotive-tuned car...
while i would never expect any tuner to fly anywhere to help me (but i do expect sharky to drive me to the BART station ), Todd was very helpful through phone & email, patiently explained what i had & what i could do, and re-tuned my new ecu for a nominal fee.

That, my friends, is true support. And I did not receive any sort of extra service from them. I have read of others who have had the same support.
No question that Todd builds very powerful motors. In my opinion only, they have a beta test quality to them.
Cheers,

Looks like my car is almost complete and will be shipping out next monday, the 27th. Right on time. I can't wait.
Once she arrives back home...I'll dyno her on a Dyno Dynamics dyno and *hopefully* will be able to get her to the track as well. Then I'll post a full review for anyone that's interested.
