Well, my car is on it's way to a shop.

I rarely post on this board, but cant get enough of reading everyone else's posts. I am heavily into the BMW tuning scene, and therefore am always appreciative when someone is willing to try a new vendor or new product offerring (saving me $$ while helping to educate me).
That said, so long as a post wasnt designed/authored as an advertisement by a representative of a non-supporting company, it only serves to help educate forum members. There must be 100s of modifications performed on member cars produced by non-supporting companies which have been talked about and archived on this forum over the years, yet none of them were edited...
It hardly seems fair to single out Protomotive (especially as they werent promoting themselves, but were merely mentioned by a customer).....

I believe you are confusing moderator and administrator powers. I have tried to change my own thread names in the past and I haven't ever been successful.

Thank you for your time,

I don't have access to the information as to who changed it. As for why, since Protomotive was not making the post and I don't have any knowledge that the post's author is working for Promotive, I don't know why it was changed. I may be missing something. I will forward this post to one of the administrators asking him to contact you.

Be it as it may, I'm sure Alexander will be contacted as requested. No need to beat this up any longer.

My comments on the matter.
If we can't freely discus positive or negative results of any tuner without being edited because they are sponsors (or not) then what we have here is a advertisment forum and not a discussion board.
I have seen the problem on rennlist and other boards. Remember it buyer beware and some of the "knowledge" being shared may accually be a sales pitch.
I don't regard this thread as one of those. It is clearly an excited owner willing to share his project.
