yea you def have to do a close inspection to really see the quality of the machining. it's amazing. the fine lines and the way they go around the edges.

they're more sports car functional racey in looks, not nearly as show as HRE, but def the best quality out of the three major american 3 piece manufacturers.

I've had two sets of HREs (448R and 847R) and driven through the rainy season plenty of times, but I never had the vibration issue. The lips on the other hand, are absolute ****. I will never buy a set of wheels with polished lips again. It's either chrome lips or no lips from now on

And I don't see why people think HRE outsources their wheel manufacturing. Go visit their factory, the machining and cutting is all done in house. They even have a special room that does the brushed aluminum finish. The painting and coloring of wheels they probably outsource though.

thx for sharing but dude, the rim halves are NOT sourced in house. only fikse forms the rim halves and centers in house.

My reverse lip HRE's vibrate in heavy rain as well.
