Am I crazy to be considering a trade for a GT3? I drove the GT3 and loved it. It's much more fun than my Tip 996TT. Do you guys have any thoughts on this?

zed... tough choice gt3 is an amazing car man .. lol

 

You have to go with the stick man. I mean comparing driving an auto to a stick is like... well it's like comparing driving an auto to a stick.

One warning. The GT3 has no power assist on the clutch. The end result will be that your left leg will be about 6" wider by the end of the year.

 

Oh good. Now my left leg will come back to normal size.

The clutch pedal did feel very stiff but the shifter felt better than the TT 6speed I drove just before the GT3. Thanks guys.

 

Yea i think stick to stick would be a much better comparo between the 2.. And i am so curious as well to drive a GT3 because im a sucker for the high revving, na track cars.. But im LOVING the TT right now, its insane!

 

they are both awesome cars. comparing them stick vs. stick they are both great performers. the only thing about the turbo is probably going to have a smoother ride if you are using the car as a daily driver.

 

The GT3 is a great car for sure BUT I don't care much for it after about 100 miles of seat time. I like the fact that my car can be cushy when I need it to be and it can scare the crap out of me, all in the same day! IMHO, the GT3 is too one dimensional. Is this going to be your daily driver??

Interestingly, the opposite of my complaint about the TT. Trying to be so many different things, that it looses focus.

 

Sounds like you answered your own question..."It's much more fun than my Tip 996TT". Go for it!
