Looks to me like the the guy in the GT3 doesn't know his car very well. Must have been starting in 4th gear or something
I've yet to run across a none modded forced air 911 that can stay within shouting distance of me

The GT3 is an awesome car. I had a real hard time deciding, but the chip factor totally won me over. I figured an X50 with minimal modification would have the acceleration to be competitive almost indefinitely. Porsche turbos never go out of style. I'm not sure I can say that about a narrowbody car though.
I have a great deal of respect for the GT3 as a track ready street car, it will always be a special car. It may even have great value as a collector car, but in terms of pure accelaration, it will be an also ran in a few years.

We ran from 30, 45, and 65mph runs. I doubt that he can't drive. His runs did not indicate that, either. Just admit that I have a strong turbo and leave it at that.

How hard is this to understand? BOTH cars trap in the 116mph area in the 1/4 mile bone stock. I have an exhaust mod, he was running an intake. If you honestly believe that he was in the wrong gear, the outcome would have been MUCH worse than it was. The runs were rather close, considering. We even ran from a few different mph just to make sure. No change in the outcome. Perhaps a few mph difference between the two cars. I'm sorry that you don't believe in the results, but the facts don't lie. I expected better from this forum in all honesty, especially since the cars are so close bone stock.

A stock turbo with exhaust makes a lot more mid range torque (as much as 40 ft/lb) due to faster turbo spool. That can be a factor, especially in the initial throttle response on go.

Ok I promise! While we're contemplating unknown driver quality, let's think for minute. The guy was coming from a track event in a GT3, he didn't know how to wind out his car on the freeway.... Oh wait... no logic!
