Not really, Its late im bored, I'm just lurking forums and such. I have no life just like you for posting on a forum.

 

I didn't even read the thread but some of the twin-turbo and supercharged AMG's are monsters in a straight line. I also like their styling but as a cohesive unit the cars stink. BMW's certainly drive better even if they don't have the pure speed. If that's what you are after then get a dragster. I'm not knocking Benz's b/c in theory I like them but in reality they are not as good as they should be. As for comparing to a Turbo, that's just silly b/c most Benz cars aren't even close to a sports car. Same way I can't take 5 people in my Turbo so why should I compare it to an M5? We do anyway b/c that's the enthusiast's nature. Unless you are insecure, the only opinion that matters about what you drive is yours. If you are married then the only opinion that matters is the one that your wife gave to you.

 

CLS is very fast but TT is faster...

 

While I am a Porsche owner I admire the way many other marquies have closed the performance gap.

The S500 AMG on the South Belt yesterday didn't think so
