Evo Clubsport Brake Package

I just installed the Evo Clubsport Brake Package on my 996 TT race car. The install is very simple, looks great, and should be killer on the race track. Evo also supplied the Pagid RS-19(Yellow) brake pads, which mated with Pagid Blacks in the rear. We'll be testing the setup during the "48 Hours at Sebring" next week.

Here is the link:

I thought I'd share,
Rick

Sounds good Rick... we've done a few of these also and so far had good results. For the price it's a great upgrade but let us know!:

The other neat thing is that 18 inch wheels fit

Hey Sharky,

Hope all is well with you. Here is a pic of the 355 mm rotor, caliper and pads. I'll try and get as much cooling to the rotors as possible. We'll see how they hold up to a test day, 2 practices, a qualifier, 40 minute sprint race, and a 90 minute enduro.

After seeing them on the race car my stock turbo brakes on my street car look rather small.

Rick

Good stuff man... you go diving into those corners now I see you've got those tubes going to it and I'm assuming you have the GT3-RS cooling ducts too?

Yes, I have the RS cooling ducts and brake hose for cooling ducts. I can only get about 2 race weekends out of the front rotors using Pagid Black.

With the stock TT brakes, disconnecting the ABS, and having a balance bar/bias adjuster the Pagid Blacks are the setup.

With the Evo Clubsport package I'm going down to Pagid Yellows to see if I can get a little more life out of the fronts.

The increase in rotor size should help dissapate heat and the aluminum hats should help reduce unsprung weight.

What rotors and pads are you running on your car?

Thanks,
Rick

Rick that sounds like a good plan. Let us know how the ABS disabling and Bias'ing works out. I may do something similair someday soon. Right now I have the Brembo GTR kit front and back....
