No its not contributed to the alignment. Like I said (if you read) once the napkins absorbed the water, the ride was smooth, until the rain collected in the wheels again.

My car did get aligned prior anyhow. Its clearly the water build up issue...John Wallace of HRE admitted, you'd feel vibration at 70mph in the rain.

Really nothing to blame HRE for.
Absolutely not true

The Cargraphic wheel has a special channel in the back barrel to disperse water. it would never get TUV approval if it had this problem.. the AVUS wheels and Maya also did not display these problems

I don't believe techart makes a Reverse Lip wheel, so it wouldn't be an issue

It does happen to all reverse drop center 3pc US made wheels. It is because our outers are spun and there is no way (yet) to spin the inner barrel without the groove. This does include all reverse lip wheels made by HRE, Kinesis, Zone, Modulare, Auto Couture Forged, AVUS, GFG, Collectizone, Donz forged, etc.....

Most of the German made multi-piece wheels utilize a different form of rim construction other than spinning (such as casting for example) by where the drop center can be formed on the outside but not the inside. However, the trade-off for this is extra weight.

One piece wheels are exempt from this problem by nature of their construction.

Man I had no idea of this issue, but I don't think it would stop me from buying reverse lip wheels. Hey Shank let me ask you, how badly was it raining outside? A lot or a little, just wondering if it was downpour or just a drizzle?

Unfortunately, it doesnt have to be raining hard for the problem to occur.

The Rs (K19R, K28R, K59R, K18R) will have that problem but the standards (K19, K29, K59, K28, K58, K18) wont.
