An EVOGT700 Pictorial!

No real words necessary but we did this GT700 car a while ago, with motons, GTR brakes, Stage III cltuch and then some... Ever wonder how much of a mess that makes!?!?
http://www.sharkwerks.com/galleries/...03_996TT_GT700

Anyways, we'll be doing another one next week but not with the light weight flywheel so it'll be interesting to see/compare 'em. So far I'm very much in favor of going with a light weight flywheel. 'Course what do I know owning a Tip

Is it necessary to drop the engine for a typical GT700 upgrade?

The owner has had a "few" Porsches before and does NOT mess around. Needless to say those brakes FOLLOW him everywhere....

It's just a personal thing but even though driving in the city or traffic becomes more difficult I do like how the revs climb and drop faster

Aye aye skipper. There's a few things that need doing. The intake plenum has to go, injectors have to be repleced along with the fuel rails and lines. Oh.. then it makes is easier to do the clutch too

sharkcat, are you the one who actually does the wrenching? or is it your job to just take pics and post on the bb? curious minds would like to know. if your job is both then I would consider you "up there with Mr. confidence."
