I've seen a lot of people report on various experiences with thier dealers, ranging from getting ripped off in various ways (the usual experience) to some complimentary comments. My purchase of a 996 TT at RUSNAK PASADENA was incredible. I live over 90 miles from this dealer but feel that it was well worth the drive. My salesman was a stellar guy: Kirk Gilday. My experience with dealers is usually as follows: Smoke and mirrors ad nauseum and negotiations with plenty of VERBAL agreements that somehow never come to fruition. Well, the negotiations were pleasant and very favorable. Kirk told me he was just as interested in selling me this car as he was my future one's. He also told me that if there were any other issues with the car, he would take care of it. Being my first Porsche purchase, I did expect to receive superior treatment with the purchase of a turbo and Kirk followed through.

I won't go into details, but due to a multitude of factors there were issues that were beyond all of our control. Kirk repeatedly came in on his off days to take care of me. There were no stories, no "its not in the contract" or any of the other usual nonsense dealers give out when the buyer's got a problem, just a simple, "How can we make this work?" I was given first class treatment and will be forever grateful. If anyone is in the L.A. area and considering a Porsche I would go to Kirk. He was more than fair with me and he also is a true Porsche guy. He owns a Concours quality classic Porsche and it was clear that he gave me the same attention he would have liked if it were his own vehicle. If anyone would like the details, feel free to PM me.
