Well guys, let's just say that if I had it to do over again I would have pulled over gotten my speeding ticket and been on my way in fifteen minutes. The way I handled it has been quite a bit more complicated!

It'll be even cooler if you were writing this behind bars and still able to laugh about it.

Plea agreement gave me $3000 in fines, 2 years probabtion and 100 hours of community service. Also once probabtion is served the felony is wiped off my record.

Fight it and lose I spend multiple years in a state jail in Texas.

Your alcohol rehab was not part of the "plea bargain?"

Great story, BUD!

$3000 in fines, 2 yrs probation and 100 hrs. community service is not too shabby when you compare the lock down in Texas you could have been facing!

What resulted of your license? And dare I mention your insurance??!

No I entered rehab on my own before this ever got settled. Now just to clear things up I was not under the influence when this happened I was just stupid all on my own without the help of mind altering chemicals.

Funny thing is I never got a speeding ticket! There was no effect on my license at all. My cars are under a company fleet insurance program thankfully.

BuddyG,

You are the man. If we ever meet I'll make sure I bring my bail bondsman with me. I've been down the same road with very similar results except I got the ticket. I was ONLY 102 over the posted speed limit. Lokking back it is very at the time it sucked really bad.
