I've certainly had thoughts of changing the nose and or wheels multiple times over the years. The problem is that I really do like things the way they are and can't really justify change for change's sake (listening Dr. Bill?). As for 996 TT becoming ancient I doubt it and most 996 TT owners still find the sight of a 993 TT exciting, so I don't really think the emergence of the 997 TT will do all that much to lessen the impact of a nice 996 TT out on the road. What it will do though is move the 997 C4 (cab or coupe) into 4th or 5th place of modern all-wheel drive Porsches out on the road (are you seeing yourself Dr. Bill?).
