Elbow Padding?

Am I the only one that feels that the armrests and center console lid are too hard?

Has anyone heard or done any kind of padding? The M3 had a very small pad and was soo much more comfortable....

OK...I absolutely agree. Of course it does "make me" grab the wheel with two hands, but there are times when I would like some nice padded armrests. Have not heard of any though.

I might have commented had I used the armrests at all! I find that they are too low so I put my elbow up on the door. I seriously need lower seats to feel comfortable. My sport, non power seat sits too high for me and I'm only 6' tall. By the way, mine are the Alu ones so they might be worse, comfort wise, than what you have.

i totally agree... and often my elbow hurts...i have the carbon armrest... but it'll be kinda ugly to put pedding on top... i just hope there are removable ones... lets say some tempur-pedic material will be nice...or those material where you rest your hands on when typing... but needs to be removable... b/c it'll be butt ugly...

I have wondered on a recent long trip about how nice some padding under a stitched leather cover would feel and look.

Well no solution, maybe I have extra bony elbows. It would be nice to have some padding.

I have the CF ones and I every time I drive, I rest my elbow on it until it gets uncomfortable. I never thought of posting about it though!!

You know, it is an interesting topic, and I find myself with sore elbow bones after I drive a while too! That hard burlwood beats my elbow bone every time.

Reviving this because I just drove to Vancouver and back and I cant believe there is still skin on my left elbow. Anyone using something they've found works well? I'm about ready to just order some generic gel pad or something.

Holly thread resurrection....I installed my own and recovered with red leather. Used memory foam.
