2 notches at top of horseshoe. Is there supposed to be clips?
Hello, I have an 04 996 cab turbo. I recently replaced the horseshoe on front console. I noticed that there are two notches on the top of the horseshoe both for the new and old horseshoe. The notches match 2 notches on the AC vent. I did searches via 6 speed onlone forum, rennlist forum, other forums, web in general to find out if there are supposed to be clips there so that there will be a tight fit between horseshoe and console, but cant find any references on it. I know about the two release clips for the AC vent, but I'm not trying to remove the AC vent. Does anyone have any insight on this? There is a small gap between horseshoe and console after replacing. It bugs the crap out of me. Would appreciate any help on this!
