Markski,
FVD stage II - see .9 steady with 1 bar or 1.1 spike. I will find out shortly when I go to a 1.2 bar program with the hybrids. Frankly, I have had such good luck with this stup, I am hesitant to change the filter, but it's been a year and is probably time.

Markski,
I am getting the Speed Gallery .003 low clearance K16/24 (GT1) hybrid, which The SG claims run perfectly with FVD stage III software. So I am upgrading the FVD stage II software to stage III, adding the FVD intake plenum and porting and polishing the stock headers. I have a RUF exhaust and RUF PSS-9, which I will retain.
M3,
I have a stock K16 car with FVD stage II ECU and RUF exhaust. When I purchased the program in 2002, FVD explained that their program was conservative on boost to preserve the integrity of the motor. Perhaps they have become more aggresive in their boost mapping, as they learned the threshold of the motor. I am not sure. My car read a steady .7 bar stock, with .8 spike - so FVD raised the peak boost by .2 bar.

John, I was wondering because it does sound kinda low compared to mine. I have stock k16's with Giac II. I seem to consistantly hit 1.1, but drops to 1.0 in 1st and 2nd. But in 3rd and up, I will hit 1.2 and then it will drop to 1.1 and stay there. I think my wastegates must need to be calibrated to hold the boost.
I was just wondering. Thanks for the info.

I thought the k16's were good up to 1.3 bar? Maybe I misunderstood. Anyway, that is why I should have bought your setup.... those Zero Clearance Turbos w/ billet wastegates you had would have been all of it. Thanks again.
