Is there difference suspension on 996 turbo vs gt2 and Gt3?
I have 996 turbo with adusjtable suspension, I want to replace them with original/oem porsche 996 turbo suspension. Fast search on the Internett I find alot of 996tt, gt2 and Gt3 suspension. Did porsche use the same suspension on these 3 cars or do they have their own suspension. If so, what is the difference of the suspensions on those 3 cars. I bet the gt2 and Gt3 is more stiffer since its made for racing and im guessing the 996tt suspension is more comfortable compared to the gt2 and gt3?usps tracking showbox speed test

The most comfortable coilovers are the H&R Street and the Blistein PSS10. Maybe the Ohlins Road and Track set as well. Any of those are more comfortable than the stock setup. The GT2 and GT3 does have a stiffer coilover set as well as stiffer sway bars. Just sell the coilovers you have and get a set that fit your needs.

your best bet at this late age of the platform to retain an "oem ride quality " is to go with bilstein b6 ( most closely approximates the stock OEM fitment/ride ) or for the "sport" version ( which most closely approximates the OEM "sport" damper setup - i.e. "MO30" - back in the day - for the car then go with bilstein B8's. but those are for use with lowering springs. if you can source them.

if you're wondering if GT2/3 coilovers fit a Turbo, simple answer is no... but it can be done (such as I've done to my dad's 6TT)
GT's also have different (and adjustable) sway bars, monoball and adjustable front strut mounts, 2 piece front control arms, solid/shorter mounted rear subframes
