Put up or shut up!

That should get the cages rattling! Who has the fastest 1/4 mile time slip that can be posted on this thread. I know Alex has a VERY fast tt but I want to see time slips. There has been TALK of tt's running 9's but I have not seen any PROOF from anyone.

Todd at EVO?
Todd at Protomotive?
Alex?

Anyone else out there?? Right now the fastest verified tt 1/4 mile that I know about is Todd at EVO with a 10.37 at 139 mph. Let's go boys put up or shut up!

I think from some of the big guns and guys like Alex, you won't see time slips because they don't want people to know how fast they run. Sounds like we have a few good street racers on the board.

You may be right, I am fairly certain Alex has already run 9's I think Todd at EVO is close and Todd at Protomotive may have a customer car out there somewhere running that fast.

There is someone with a setup like mine that has run a 10.0X with a 1.4 or 1.5 60' time...but he doesn't want to post his slips for public viewing. His prerogative of course.

Thumbs up Porsches in the nines...

Protomotive has 3 cars running in the "nines"
one is a 993TT and is in the south central united states.
Todd Knighton and his wife built all three of these cars.
I wish I could say more.

Good luck to all you "high horsepower guys"
it is cool to see these cars run mid 11's and below!

My POS did 10.62 @ 135 last summer but that was in 103 degree heat, with AWD still connected and street tires. I think I'm going to try what the new breed is doing... i.e. disconnect the front drive shaft and go 2WD and try some *** radials

does it hurt for an awd car to run drag radials or slicks?

I wouldn't say "new breed". A lot of us have been drag racing different vehicles for 20+ years (at least in my case). We're only new to TT's and we're applying what we've already learned on other cars to the TT's.

This isn't my first 10 second car you know.

I was about to start another "Who has the 5 fastest Turbo's in the Country?" thread then I saw this. Cars & times have improved a lot in the last year, therefore a new thread like this is about due. Anybody care to note their opinions on the "Top 5"?

Verified (with timeslips and/or videos), or unverified?

Because a couple of the truly fastest TT's around are unverified at this point.

Verified or unverified is fine. Just your opinions. It is not my intention to hijack Buddys thread, so I started a new one.

Monkeyboy I would love to see what your fagtronic could do in RWD and high boost. If you don't run a 9 you should retire!
