When is a turbo too big?

It sounds like Alex will never stop exploring and trying new things
with the P-car powerplant. Thanks guys for a great thread,
very cool all the shared info. This is going to be the best year ever
for tortureing the Supra/Viper Crowd/C6-Zo6 All of this talk has got
me thinking about new mods as well.
O.T. when does the Pinks episode air and what car is on the show?
(if you can let the cat out of the bag-that is)

As for a new motor (since I now have an extra M600 Motec box), given the results of this Protomotive build, I think its time to build a 'race' version of this car . After talking with Todd, it is possible to build a RELIABLE 260mph, 8second street-strip car......well one way to find out....my first thought would be to twin turbo the CGT, but after some research we are going with a different donor...

Getting back to the subject of this thread, i believe that for a daily driver, you should not opt for anything bigger than the GT28 Turbos AKA
(EVOMS GT700 Turbos). As for the ones who see Craig as their idol. What i can see is that Craig might be putting the GT35R or GT40R very soon on his car. Correct me on that Craig.... ??
P.S. Did you get in contact with 9ff regarding the gear mod ?

You know... saying a small turbo is good enough is almost the same as when a girl tells you that size really doesn't matter. Not that any girl has told me that before. Heck that's what RedlineRobert told me that girls say to him. A turbo is never too big. And same with girth.

GT2871-R
* Ideal for saller displacement engines making up to 475 hp.
* Ideal for twin-turbo applications on medium size engines making up to 800 hp.
Horsepower 280 - 475
Displacement 1.8L - 3.0L
A little confusing eh?
