ebaker is infamous around these parts
Hopefully he just stripped the stud threads, and not the threads in the turbo housing. I'd make them replace the stripped parts.

Tom,
I thought they were going to heli-coil it or re-tap it?

Yes, three bolts will be fine....there isn't much stress on that area of the car...and for you track guys turbos are consumables anyway

Have you put any thought into your next turbo? Stay with K24s, or go to a modified 24/26? Something to think about along with a ecu mod.

I could barely get a small wrench on some of the nuts, much less a torque wrench.

If the threads in the turbo housing are stripped, the Tech must have super human powers.I'm with ebaker, With out PSI system its impossible to use a Torque wrench.

Well they said they were going to fix it but didnt for some reason. I had alot of good ideas from "the other site", to fix it and passed them on but nothing.

Guess I'll push the issue if it is not too difficult to fix. you know what its like when you are at the track I'm always afraid something is going to go wrong!!

thanks for the input!!

Guys, thanks for your comments....You can`t get a figgan torque wrench in there to begin with. It`s a Milltek...probably simular to PSI. Mike
