evo stage I or higher

I'm considering upgrading my 2003 996tt to an Evo Stage I now & maybe Stage 3 or 4 next year. Question is for those that have done the stage I , how does it compare to stock. Also, how does the stage I compare to the stage 3,4, etc. I just use this as a fun street car, no track or abuse. Just want some more fun. Thanks in advance for any help.

Stage I is a good way to get your feet wet. Power delivery is smoother and you'll see boost of 1.0 or 1.1 instead of .6. You'll feel the added kick in the butt. You'll tire of it soon and be looking for more. Really the way the car should come stock.

True, but the nice thing is if it is done through one of us (EVO, iA, Sharkwerks) then you receive credit for what has been bought before. No paying twice for what you have

I think the flash is a great upgrade, but I thought GIAC highly recommends doing a free flow exhaust also. I was planning to start with stage one as well, but as soon as I started talking with my tuner....I was hooked and went straight to stage 4! I decided if i was going to drop the cash, might as well go for it and really wake my car up I'm not disappointed!

Big different with stock and stage 1, I will say is a "MUST" for TT. if you plan to keep the car longer. I will suggest play with stage 1, get used to the extra power and upgrade to stage 3 or 4 later.

I started with Stage I, then went on to do a Stage II. The car is perfect for everyday driving and much faster...Stage III and 4 create a different animal and will void your warranty.

My suggestion is to go straight to Stage 2
I 1st did Stage 1 and it was extremely impressive over stock.
But, after Stage 2, all I can say is that my car is absolutely perfect for me!

Perfect horsepower, torque, driveability, SIMPLY AWESOME!!!

You got it. I'll tell you this on any K24-equipped car it is WAY more important to have an exhaust to go with the flash. The K16 cars get quicker right off the bat but with the K24 cars just doing the flash doesn't do it justice. Too much restriction going on...

Actually the interesting thing is that the cars with K24 turbos.. well they have those turbos stock. All they are really doing to get to the stage IV is similair to what a stage II K16 car does. They add an exhaust, DV's, flash and headers
