What exhaust is most quiet sounding?

I want something smooth and as quiet as possible. any suggestions? thanks

Stock exhaust. Don't think anyone makes anything quieter then stock.

i was just going to say, most, if not all aftermarket exhausts would be louder than stock.

I'd probably find your nearest TT groupd (not sure where you are based) and go for a ride. One man's quiet is another man's effing-loud. It's rather subjective and there's a lot of different ones out there... Also I assume you mean quiet "inside"? If you mean "outside" well you might want to stay stock. Once you hammer the gas most of the freer flowing exhausts are going to make more noise.

The Ruf exhaust is very quiet. I would sell mine for the right price.

I have the Evo exhaust which with cats is more aggressive then stock but not that much, with no cats its still too quiet until WOT, i will be going straight pipes soon if you want it?!

there are so many people that have an X-50 and replaced their exhaust (including me!). I think if you want quiet but not totally stock, get someones old X-50 muffler and try that. (I gave mine away, I'm sure you could find one)
PS IMHO these cars sound very disappointing with a stock exhaust, and even with the X-50 still too quite. to each his own!

In addition to my Ruf exahust, I also have an x50 exhaust with 100 miles on it of anyone is interested.
