Weak link surfaced, Boast hose connection
My car is an 01 with stage 4 upgrade, I recently added waste gates, EVO-V flow air intake and new headers, the car is silly fast and the reduced turbo lag is great but a weak link surfaced today, one of my boast hoses blew out at wide open throttle, the hose seem to be fine but the cheesy connection does not seem strong enough to hold with all the additional mods, do silicone hose upgrades come with better/stronger connections? Can connections be made stronger and keep the existing hoses?

GaryFL has the same mods as your Rave, including the waste gate springs. He also has the Evo hoses. He never had a hose pop off until he added the Evo hoses.
He has had two different people install them with the same results. Hoses popping off. Not sure if he got a bad silicone hose kit or what. I think he is planning on going back to stock hoses until they can get this figured out.
Now who wants to play monster rain?

boost hose
I've done my mods incrementally to have a "baseline" comparison.
I still remember having new headers and exhaust when I was at Stage 2 and getting some EVO boost hose added on.
Definate postive difference. At least on my car, it seemed the stock hoses were "leaking boost".
