Q about lease return.

Q about lease return.
My buddy is returning his leased cab. It's not in the greatest shape so he needs to know what mechanical stuff, dents, dings and scratches he needs to fix before inspection in order to not get charged. On the other hand he doesn't want to fork out cash for something that the inspector won't dock him for. Does anyone here have experience with lease returns to Beverly Hills Porsche or any other dealer?
TIA -Peter
Ps apologies for the double post.

scraps, dents are definitely responsible by leasee.
rock chips and small dings may be considered wear and tear.
does the dealer charge reasonable prices for body work? i would think they do given that they want your business again. if your friend treats his car poorly, he should be ready to pay for the damages. poor car!

I've absolutely punished my cars that have been on leases and as long as you are prepared to get another car they'll overlook the damage and over-mileage you've accumulated. But they'll ding you hard when you take your business to another dealer.
