I know many people who have lost a lot by street racing. I keep it on the track where it's safe and controlled. And if someone crashes you aren't in the middle of no where waiting on paramedics.

Ryan's right when he says a 2900 pound Supra is a not a "real" street car anymore as you need to lose a lot of what makes a "street" car a "street" car.
This could be a great race! I would of course bet on Ryan given what he has already accomplished with his Supra.

You have to strip the hell out of a Supra and gut it completely to get it to 2900lbs.
Like I said, its nice to see you on 6speedonline...My Vegas number is still the same, if you still have it...give me a call.

Ahh Alex comes back from all of the partying haha!! Crazy you can save all of that weight, but that's ALOT of money!!
BTW i was joking about the grudge match, only said it kidding around because of the manifold situation. That should have been privately PM'd to you as well, not on a public forum post!

How are we going to line the Poopras up when I was planning on asking you do the passes in my car to dial it in?????? I would however like to line up my 95 SB2.2 Camaro with your Supra.....looser buys drinks!
As you know Dana and I came up with the resolution on that along time ago... Dont you remember the conversation we had that the intake manifold was damaged when I received it! Dana (shipper) filed a claim with UPS and I provided the affidavit to UPS for his full Reimbursement on the Manifold?? ...It cost me $521.19 to fix the manifold!! I dont like to air my laundry in public like some other forums...If you have a problem with me, PM me your number and I will give you a call...
If you want to do a friendly match race, I will be happy to bring one of the other toys out to the Vegas track...
Now that would be fun since my Supra is designed as a Top End freeway car and not a quarter mile car...
No grudge on this end....and remember Ryan drives the top dog 6speed Supra...by the way we both have a 'grind' with another well knows 6speed Supra owner .
There is more than one way to drop weight...sure one way is to strip the car...however the other way is to CNC Mill existing pieces out of 'exotic' lightweight materials (much, and I repeat much more expensive).....this way you can retain your titanium housed a/c compressor ... and then there is Carbon Fiber...not your over the counter carbon, but true race carbon...Did you know that you can drop 48.2lb out of the car if you replaced all the bolts/nuts with titanium counterparts!

Just talked to Alex. We should be able to get our deal sorted out quickly.
I'd be happy to pilot your car for some test passes Just make sure it has a tilton and good trans and we're good to go!
I knew you could cut weight doing things that you listed. I'd be very interested to see what you're dropping the coin on to accomplish all that.
I have an auto car now that we're tinkering with. It's only been to the track twice, once in AZ and the TX Meet. It's gone 8.45 on a let out on boost. I should be putting the spray (DP 225shot) on it soon so it has some potential.
